It's miserable, typical BWI weather up here 72dp. Just mowed the grass like a true idiot, but gotta' stay in shape for snow shoveling in the upcoming BIG winter!  :arrowhead:

Landscaping now with Gatorade in hand. Today if you are outside working you needs extra hydration and electrolytes.

Agreed. I'm skeptical of us hitting 100° during this stretch.

I am too. I feel like the pattern flipped last month; lots of cloud cover and misty days now. We're above-average mostly because it doesn't cool off at night; our highs aren't that impressive. It's why I'm still going low in the summer contest.

Not all, but my recollection, selective maybe, is that max AN temps often occur with a heat wave in June in Niñas then not so AN the rest of the summer. I guess we'll see if my memory is tainted with a wishcast.

WB 18Z GFS...hopefully some welcome thundershowers on Th.

Would be very welcomed indeed.  Looking beyond the coming weekend Mount Holly AFD mentions this -

A more active weather pattern may begin to take shape Monday
and beyond, with indications of a slightly more amplified upper-
air pattern taking shape.

Yup! We see the ridging get beat down from disturbances in the northern stream and the flow becomes more amplified after Monday. At least the heat will take a beating, but it'll still be summer!

Need it to start after next Monday.
