KeenerWx
Been getting absolutely stiff armed. Over past several days have missed popcorn to the N, S, E & W by single digit miles. Some rain would be nice...

May end up pushing double digit monthly rainfall totals for June if the pattern persists through late month. Not even close.
Torchageddon
My boatload of rain expected for today was a huge bust, 1 inch turned into a trace that dried up within half a hour. There were modest storms all around. Our temps keep over-performing every day too by 3C.

Chicago Storm Posted yesterday at 12:49 AM Share Posted yesterday at 12:49 AM The second half of June was phenomenal, temperature/humidity wise. T'storm/severe t'storm wise, this first half of the year has been one of the worst I can recall for action around here.

Yuck.

That would be nuts!

michsnowfreak Posted yesterday at 04:20 PM Share Posted yesterday at 04:20 PM Thanks to the last 10 days of the month being the warmest last 10 days of June on record (despite a max of "only" 95), June at Detroit ended up tying with 1994 for 11th warmest June on record. To put it into perspective, as of June 20th, it was ranking 64th coldest.

Although I'd imagine 75 instead of 85 would be your preference.

OrdIowPitMsp Posted yesterday at 05:54 PM Share Posted yesterday at 05:54 PM June ended up 0.5F above average in Minneapolis. Pretty up and down month. 3 days above 90 with a monthly high of 96, but what stands out to me is the high of 57 on the 13th.

This is off topic but I have memories of a hot June in the mid 1990s and I always feel like I’m remembering 1995 because it was a hot summer. However, I don’t think June of 1995 was actually warm. I wonder if I’m remembering 1994.
