Blizzard of 93
At this range, it’s good to see that each of the 3 major global models at 0z now have us in the game with 1 week to go.

psuhoffman
So several times over the last several years the euro was all by itself showing snow. And of course each failed. And I opined that while it’s still better it’s not so much better anymore than it’s likely to be correct when it’s on an island in opposition to the preponderance of guidance. This is the first time we get to test that but in the opposite way.

Weather Will
NWS discussion this am. As the high pressure moves east, a quick return flow will develop ahead of a low pressure system that could bring wintry precipitation to many locations by midday Saturday and into Saturday night. High temperatures will be seasonable with highs in the 40s. Models are beginning to show some agreement with next weekend`s low pressure system in which the track of the low could be to our south and intensify as it approaches the mid-Atlantic Coast. The consensus low pressure system track has the low moving from central North Carolina, across the Tidewater of southeastern Virginia and just offshore of the Delmarva. It is too early to tell how much rainfall, how much snowfall, locations of these types of weather, and the timing of impact. We will need to monitor next weekend`s low pressure system over the early part of this week.

yoda
06z GFS has the 4th storm bombing further west and deeper at 120 (970mb) compared to the 00z run at 126 (983mb) Though by 138... the 06z SLP is in the general vicinity of where the 00z SLP is.... just 2mb deeper -- so looks like the 50/50 low remains strong

Ji
This is what psu wanted. A nino low so strong that only he cashes inThis has historical potential....also historical heartbreak but better than tracking a cape progressive wave that gives him 3 inches lolSent from my SM-A515U using Tapatalk
Weather Will
With marginally cold air, track will be key. Even 25 mile shift either way will make huge difference at this point. WB OZ EPS favors NW zones.
yoda
I mean the h7 and h85 vort/low pass look good to me... I am guessing its just the strength of the cold air? Or is it just because its in C VA instead of S VA we lose lol
