Usually the NESIS maps are good for looking at the general idea of the snow distribution despite being too conservative, but this map is completely wrong and way too aggressive with the snow in SNE and NJ/NYC 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Only two 20" or more. and those include 16". 2013 30" #1 all time and 2003 #2 all time 20". Never recorded anything greater than 20" besides those two and nothing 16"+ since 2000. The 4 Seasons Posted 4 hours ago Share Posted 4 hours ago Today is the 15 year anniversary of one of CTs biggest snowstorms on record. BDL #1 all time with 24". And overall probably the 2nd biggest (for CT in general) in the past 30 years. Just finished redoing all these maps for accuracy and to include Lower Northeast view with climo sites. One of the most perfect radar evolutions for SNE and especially CT. This storm is actually the only storm i've done that has a 40"+ contour other than 1888.
