That’s what I think. Even with Ne flow you see it.  But I think that holds weight because you don’t see it in smaller events or WAA type deals where 850 winds are SE-S.

34 in East Windsor? Every town surrounding it had reports of 22-25" including BDL. I didn't see anything like that looking through all the available data. that map includes every possible report i could find from cocorahs, COOP and the PNS which is what i go off of and i think is far more realistic and accurate than the NESIS map which has none of CT above 30" which is ridiculous.

I'll have to try to dig out my old notes wherever the hell they are lol. If I'm remembering correctly East Windsor had a hair more than Simsbury although maybe I'm of the information backwards. I know the Simsbury measurement is correct

yep thats another one that i always think of, too low again CT/MA  and really low for NH/VT

Theres definitely some missing ones on that list, theres no way Feb 5th, 2001 or Mar 4-6, 2001 isnt a Cat 1 or 2. I get the formula but there is far lesser events that still scraped the big cities like new york that made that list.

This ones gotta be the worst. NYC got zero snow from this. As well as most of CT and all of MA outside the berkshires. So this one is super overdone for tri-state/sne

That is a horrific map. Not sure what they were looking. Usually the NESIS maps are good for looking at the general idea of the snow distribution despite being too conservative, but this map is completely wrong and way too aggressive with the snow in SNE and NJ/NYC

I did have the two towns transposed in my head. 29 in E.W. and 31 in Simsbury.. well, West Simsbury really
