Hey @H2Otown_WX i just added a full radar loop of your favorite storm Dec 30th 2000 and Feb 5th, Mar 4-6th 2001 as well as Dec 2003 and Jan 2005. Even the blizzard of 96 is now up. All new snowfall maps as well. I cant link them here cuz the file sizes are massive.

Hell yeah man, thank you. Appreciate your hard work. Look at that radar loop for December 2000. That's a sexy storm and a rare distribution these days with west beating east.

For sure. Mar 4-6 2001 was one hell of a storm despite under performing a bit in CT. Still a solid 10-18 for most of the state. I was pretty much right on with my memory of that storm, snow began late Sunday AM and the last flakes ended just after midnight Wednesday morning. About 62 hours.

12/30/00 was a really annoying storm in central and east-central MA. Took forever to start (you can see how all the precip filled in west first despite it moving almost due north), and then once it got going it didn’t last all that long. It was heavy but then dryslotted pretty quick.

Out of left field question - does a radar look exist for the blizzard of March 1993? All I have ever scene were two frames.

Yes but it’s just prior to the WSR 88-D Doppler radars being installed. So you don’t get the banding detail like you would even a couple years later. Just search for that storm in YouTube and you’ll see a ton of weather channel clips that show the radar loops.

Today is the 28-year anniversary of the April fools day blizzard of 1997. Here's the SNE map and radar animation GIF i made for it. I couldn't find any good radar images or loops of this event, being so old, so i made my own using the NCEI radar archive. I updated our historical section with more maps and surface loops of the event. @40/70 Benchmark thought you might like this. I have the full non-compressed GIF but its like 200mb so i couldnt attach it here.

I Now know why I got 30" in that storm.  NE RI to Brockton, MA was inside the Yellows More than anyone else.  WHY can't we get storms where I'm ever even Close to being in the bullseye the whole time?  God, what a storm.  What a perfect radar for so many reasons.  And 4 Seasons, not all your links work on the different storm radars, I'd LVOE to see them all!  This is great!
