Water is coming over the wall in Little Washington.  Rolling over the sidewalk and slowly into the street.  High tide will put another foot or so into the downtown area later tonight.  So any other surge on top of what is there will ultimately determine if downtown floods again or not.

Several water front houses down river towards the sound already have water at their doors.  Gonna be a nailbiter.

Had my first longer duration gust....probably 25ish sustained gusting to 45-50 at the peak.....powers flickering already....the worst is the peak winds for us on the forecasted NHC track isnt for another 12 hrs or so....and thats if it doesnt come 30-40 miles further north....videos dont really do it justice either but this is how it is at my place right now....

Obs from well inland where wind won't be an issue, but rain. The Monroe airport is reporting 77°, cloudy skies, winds 17mph from the North with gusts of 25mph.

The NWS mentioned in this mornings discussion that this area could see up to 12" of rain.
