Looks like a really nice lowering with this and a nice gust front!

North of HFD actually has a decent shot at severe. Tall updraft, nice bowing shape, lightning activity increasing rapidly.

Cloud features suggest this is close to severe. Well defined gust front. Wish I could directly load a pic here but it’s too big

The rains gotta be quite intense with these. Yesterday was pretty insane

They were pretty insane, no thunder at all very tropical in nature. A little gusty towards the end of the rain. Picked up 0.70 in the stratus in under 30 minutes.

Jealous. I watched the towers rising across the way earlier. Remains beautiful and cloudless with a spanking breeze and torrid humidity. Wishing we could conjure a storm here, but no such luck.

And one strengthening to the southwest!!! It’s like watching Miley Cyrus to the north and Taylor Swift is to the southwest!!!

Now sure THAT deserves a warning...

Finally, a good one in Monson, MA where the summer rains have not been all that  generous. Active yellow/purple gust front, some vivid cloud to ground, and an intense downpour that continues.

Maybe a little spin up of some kind down near Ansonia, tight persistent couplet and hook, but small, you almost need the super-res radar to see it...
