Just changed over. Coating on the grass, and the cars. Nothing on the roads or the sidewalks. It should change back when we get heavier bands over us, but in the subsidence it's rain here.

 

Weird. Winter radar is only showing a mix of rain over towards Gary and Hammond.

 

No wind here at all. Flakes falling straight down.

Hawkeye's brother here in Hawthorn Woods IL.

1.5" at 8:30pm

8.0" at 10pm.

10.0" at 11:10.

The snowfall rate was really incredible for a couple hours there. It reminds me somewhat of the storm a few years back where we got close to 15" here, blowing well past expectations.
