UlsterCountySnowZ
Central Jersey and Long Island are jackpots.. This is probably the more realistic outcome
IsentropicLift
Sharp cut off right over NYC for three combined events of tonight, the rain in the middle and the snow at the end. 1"+ for Westchester County and 2"+ for Staten Island, Southern Brooklyn, Southern Queens and the immediate south shore of LI. mob1
I just went on a computer, it looks bad even for Rockland and northern BergenIt doesn't but I can see why the trend concerns you.
IsentropicLift
The 4k NAM says that precip never shuts off. Could be some brief dry slotting after midnight before the rain moves in.
UlsterCountySnowZ
Parts of Orange County South of 84 make out pretty decent, it's so close with that cutoff tho I would be worries
Animal
Not bad run but much less for NW sections I kinda like my spot. May not be absolute crush job, but I should get a few inches tonight and say 4-7 inches on rd 2. Not terrible.
WintersGrasp
This run looks like a couple inches tonight and then 4-6" with some areas 6-8". Nice NAM run and obviously south

Juliancolton
Not bad run but much less for NW sections That makes it an atrocious run. Pattern recognition be darned: when your wettest and most northerly solution, by a wide margin, is from the long-range NAM, you lean south and drier. The immediate metro still stands to do quite well on Thursday, but latitude won't be your friend.
friedmators
Is this Sleet or ZR? For my location @ 12 hours.
UlsterCountySnowZ
Everything is dependant on how strong the system is, more phase it's further north

IsentropicLift
4k nam is a major ice Storm for interior.. Idk how NWS isn't issuing warnings It's been showing 0.25-0.50" ice for a lot of the area for several runs in a row. I think it's a very fine line between sleet and zr and NWS will probably take the conservative route and wait until the power goes out
