A-L-E-K
looks like something is going to give it a go up in Geos country...CU out over Chicago looking pretty decent
Chicago Storm
looks like something is going to give it a go up in Geos country...CU out over Chicago looking pretty decent The HRRR has been showing a few small/weak cells developing. Unlike pervious days there is a weak wave in the area, so what the HRRR shows could very well be correct.

Chicago Storm
Temps really bouncing around at ORD. 103 before the storm hit. It then dropped to 82 during the storm, and now it's back up to 90.

Hoosier
Temps really bouncing around at ORD. 103 before the storm hit. It then dropped to 82 during the storm, and now it's back up to 90. Not that late yet and considering the cooling was tstorm induced, wouldn't be shocked if they rebound another 3-5 degrees or so.
kevlon62
Popping on the lake breeze eh? This is looking east/southeast. I assume this is what dropped on ORD. Heading in there now with m-in-law for an evening flight.
Chicago Storm
Not that late yet and considering the cooling was tstorm induced, wouldn't be shocked if they rebound another 3-5 degrees or so. Chicago Storm
Yeah just noticed that. Had no idea there was another cell coming in. Back up to 97 as the OFB moved back through just ahead of the next cell. Looks like ORD will be brushed by the next cell...back down the temp will go. Hoosier
The temperature roller coaster at ORD will be enough to induce vomiting.
Chicago Storm
The temperature roller coaster at ORD will be enough to induce vomiting. Back down to 86 as the OFB with the next cell passed. Looks like little in the way of rain fell this time though.
Chicago Storm
Back down to 86 as the OFB with the next cell passed. Looks like little in the way of rain fell this time though. Up to 92 once again. OFB is quickly pushing back towards the area, so another few degree rise seems possible....before the next cells up north move in.
