I planted 56 plants Saturday and spread 4 cubic yards of mulch Sunday (shoveling into wheelbarrow, taking to spit, dumping and spreading), I pretty much want to die.

I hope it rains the be t few days. We're going to Texas Wed-Sub and I need to get water on the plants. It'll be 90 in Dallas all weekend, too. Joy!

What did you plant?

Looks like decent rain prospects.

A wife variety of things.

White creeping thyme, two yellow roses, butterfly bushes, lillies, clemantis, a lot of other things I can't remember or spell.

All stuff that thrived in sunlight and dry soil, this area is in mostly sun and I don't plant things I have to water much. It's a strip 6' x 60'.

How is hunting gobblers (the bird ) going for everybody?

Very slow first two days for me. Opening day was a bust. Monday I had two hens come off the roost to me.

Slept in today after waking up at 430 to pouring rain.

Great, walked downstairs to the chest freezer this morning to make sure it was still there, it was.

Nice.

Butterfly bushes are such nice plants and so easy to manage.

An area of strong thunderstorms covered portions of Adams...

Very heavy rain will fall from these strong thunderstorms... and will

cause water to pond on roads and fill poor drainage areas. The rain

may also cause sharp rises on small streams and creeks.

Expect frequent lightning from these thunderstorms.

This will impact the following central Pennsylvania interstates... the

Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 218 and 295... I-81 between

mile markers 41 and 63... I-83 between mile markers 1 and 49... I-283.

That Meso rolled through here after midnight. It started around 12:30am and lasted until about 2:00am. Nothing really earth shattering, but a nice little rain event with the occasional rumble/boom of thunder. We got 0.60" of rain from it as well.
