I'm on board with the torch--but even in 01-02 we had a nasty cold snap in April and would not be surprised to see that here. But in the meantime, March overall rocks warm-no real difference from Dec-Feb which were also brutally warm overall relative to averages

Don S has been great this winter.

What a fail for some parts of SNE. Boston was under a winter storm warning yesterday and now, they were downgraded.

Logan Airport rec'd .9 of an inch yesterday before turning to rain-still light rain there now.

the .9 of an inch ruined the snowless February up there.

How much did Boston receive? I remember the Nam showing over a foot for them lol. The Euro was also pretty snowy for those parts.

The NAM was showing 8"+ consistently for these parts.. smh

Im grateful to have received 3"

this year, you really had to cut the model output in half-just about every storm underperformed which makes sense given the lack of a true thermal gradient-there was just no cold air to be found....

The 12z euro is not a torch.

Hours 87-150 have average to below average surface temps on the soundings.

It gets warm days 7-8 and then it has that huge cutoff which would be cold for the eastern half for days.

Lets hope its wrong. Bring on spring.
