Snow. Nice and white outside on all surfaces... every little single branch on trees and bushes has snow sticking to it. Doesn't look to be more than an inch but looks beautiful and wintery!

White Xmas in route.... and the sound of the plow just rumbled by.

30/30 at MVL... looks like BTV and Plattsburgh in the Champlain Valley are 34/33F and rain though. Nice and cold here east of the Spine. Obs only shows flurries for MVL because the vis sensor is broken and hasn't recorded a visibility below 9 miles in over a month. We are probably around 1 mile vis like MPV. Its got that foggy snow look outside.

I'm worried about Kev and Pete...they could be shining up the nike's and shaving their heads by now waiting for the comet.

No need to cry your crocadile tears for me. It's going to be a white x-mas here and today is another ski day. Enjoy your endless pessimism while I enjoy the SNOW!

The boundary level was just torched. Places like Plattsburgh started with a dew point of 27 and the rain brought milder air down initially. 35.1 here and "too little too late" snow flakes mixing in now. I think it took a good 1500' to see any snowfall in the Helderbergs and Catskills...probably closer to 2k' for more than slush. Is this late March?

Nice that you have snow Pete...that's owing to the fact that intensity is better there and offered a window to pull cold air down. Didn't work out here....

1.4" at 800ft in Stowe, 1.8" at 1,550ft here base of ski resort.

Snowing nice and steadily... surprised that snow growth seems pretty decent. This is moist stuff though, really squeaky when you walk through it. Roads are a mess for 1-2" of snow...greasy stuff and unplowed at this early hour. Propane tanker was off the road on the hill up to the ski resort.

But man with this stuff caked to every single little branch it looked like a true winter wonderland driving around out there this morning. That'll put you in the spirit.
