I just drove into Freeport....Dont go there...flooding is insane coming across Merrick Rd...feet of water down the side streets ...I almost got stuck... Where I live in Merrick, I had power flashes all night , and saw transformers non-stop exploding...I was an intense scene here. From the looks of the surf cam the waves a pushing up against the dunes.
