OceanStWx
Mid level dry air, coupled with the high T/Td spreads and steep low level lapse rates should yield pretty good wind gusts (especially with any cells that can organize cold pools).
SnowMan
Does this make it down to Eastern Massachusetts? Right now severe warnings are only up for SNH and Central Mass.

HoarfrostHubb
We could use some rain. Hope it comes to fruition. NNE has really been storm central this season. On the otherhand, I put up an EZ Up shelter for the pool area, and now I will have to take the top off again.
HoarfrostHubb
Weren't they called the defenders at one point? With camo Jerseys? Anyways.. storms are strengthening.. hold on please You might be in line for that cell near ALB if it hold together...and it does look like it is getting stronger...nice! Too far north for me I'm afraid

Too far north for me I'm afraid It looks like its going north of.me too which sucks.. if it strengthens, it could turn more south as most strong storms tend to do

OceanStWx
What's going on with the southern part of that big line? (just south of Middlebury, VT) Nice flare up of the updraft. Essentially tail end charlie, with a clean inflow. 60 dBZ up to 31kft, I would venture there are golf balls falling with that cell.

powderfreak
So far quite a bit of severe reports in the BTV CWA... including 1.00" hail in downtown Burlington. Gusts here were below severe thresholds but still packed enough punch to down a few trees around town (gusts to 50mph). Fire department was real busy with lightning strikes. Power out for 75 minutes. weatherwiz
One sick ass line of storms going on...lots of wind reports too. Pretty unstable throughout the area, the best shear though is along northern sections. Kind of surprised to see the watch this far south but we'll see if that line holds at all or if outflow can spark anything off. Might have a mid/upper level cap down here looking at things. dendrite
Center Harbor nailed again. I swear the Center Harbor/Sandwich area is an absolute storm magnet. Yeah they seem to always do well. I had a lucky streak from 06-09, but the last couple years have been relative duds.I'm not sure there will be much severe around my area, but hopefully one of those right moving cells, that keep forming/dissipating with a few frames, comes through here. At the least the rain and ocnl TS will be nice.
dendrite
Just had a 28mph gust out of the NW well ahead of the line...had been light out of the S all day. I wish the outflow wasn't outrunning the line.
