feloniousq
Probably 60/40 rain/sleet in Durham near Duke. Occasionally you'll see a fat flake wander down. Intensity has picked up noticeably the last few minutes and seem to have good returns to our west.

chapelhillwx
I'm sick so I just woke up and missed the best of it, but 35.2 and sleet w/ the odd lumpy slush splat falling here in Chapel Hill.
landof2rivers
Temp hasn't gone below 35 here. It's all snow and has been for the last hour or so. The snow is sticking to the car, but nothing else. Further north of me, towards and across the VA border, it was sticking to roofs and lightly covering grassy areas. The temp was 32 outside of Ridgeway, VA and rose as I came back into NC. eyewall
Nothing but cold miserable rain here in the upper 30's. Give me severe to chase at this point. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
superjames1992
Looks like the snow machine has cut off the last 20 minutes. I'll call it a slushy dusting. The snow did coat the elevated surfaces and mulch in some slush for a few minutes there.

VeronicaCorningstone
Sleet mixed with rain here in Wilson. Pinging pretty hard on the window sills right now, but I think it's tapering off.
sctvman
My friend at Wake says it's pouring snow there. Still very cold here. Mid 40s. Hard to believe after it nearly got to 90 in parts of the area last week.
NC_WX10
looks like that band to my west will be the last snow of the year for me.

Carvers Gap
Light snow currently falling in Kingsport, TN. Don't think it will accumulate. Right now the "snow window" for the winter season here has been Nov. 5, 2010 to March 28, 2011. Not bad at all.

If so, that would be a 5 full months.
superjames1992
QPF was a disappointment. We only ended up with a shade over 1/10" of QPF and only about half of that fell in the form of snow. Just not enough QPF to get much, if any accumulations.
Tullioz
Here are a few pictures from just North of Eden. While I only had a dusting here at my location, just 6 miles from my house at an elevation of 1470' Chestnut Knob in Ridgeway, VA had about 2". The temperature there was 29.7 degrees while here at home (780') it is now 36.8. It's amazing what a few hundred feet in elevation can do.

shaggy
I had about a 15 minute sleet/rain mix as the last of the heavy showers passed by.

I am a huge fan of snow, but this late season cold is tough. The first half of April looks rough for sure.
