    Ensembles have been garbage this year anyway. This might be the first time all winter we've had every major OP model have a winter storm at this range. What could go wrong?! Ha.

    Icon, cmc, euro, and to some extent the gfs looks pretty darn similar at 180 hours with this shortwave.

    No posts about it, but the 18z euro looked interesting at end of run. It was digging the shortwave pretty far south.

    What's been the deal this year with shortwaves getting stretched out? Seems like a repetitive thing with these positively tilted troughs. Energy gets stretched out with some getting left behind. Even last weekends event had issues with it. 6z gfs has another example of this coming up....

    Just endure the next 9-10 days as the pattern kind of resets. I think we'll be tracking something again this time next week hopefully

    I just got back to Philly. I drove to Braintree MA for yesterday's storm. I drove Erie for the storm 2 weeks ago. We're all insane.

    I'm estimating 2 feet here just based off of nothing but past experience of what 2 feet of snow looks like. I could be way off though hah. This hobby is draining. I made a deal with owner of this hotel to shovel for a free night. Just finished. I'm on like 3 hours sleep, good night all

    It is brutal out here. Impossible to measure as everyone has noted.. Hoping these bands can rotate a bit farther NW. Can see the ocean effect on radar a bit. I tried to get farther SE towards Plymouth but there was nothing available any where for a reasonable price. Any posters from around where I am?
