  1. Depending on where you are I think DFW can pull off 1", maybe even 2" if we flip quickly which I think is possible with good mid-level WAA.
  2. 12Z FWD sounding. Still some dry air to be worked out but temps aloft looking good.
  3. HREF has 2-4" for DFW which I think is in the realm of possibility if that band sets up further N. I'd lean more towards 2" though.
  4. 12Z coming in a little higher for DFW. Counties SW of Metroplex looking better as well. These WeatherBell maps show different (higher) amounts than COD does anyone know what that's about? I'm guessing it's a resolution thing with their graphical output? EDIT: These amounts are high imo so I think it's a WeatherBell thing.
  5. Texas expecting widespread snow beginning today and extending into tomorrow. Feeling pretty good about seeing DFW's ~6 yr >=1" snow drought being broken tomorrow.
  6. Oh ok gotcha. Too bad Weathermodels & Weatherbell don't process it around the same time it loads up on the Meteocentre page. I haven't checked that page in ages until now I just assumed they all processed once the data starts coming in. Now knowing that disregard that 12Z map Ray. Sorry for making you relive the past lol.
  7. Looks good for your backyard, and it is currently better than the other models that I've looked at so far. SE MA & Cape still out of the mix though.
  8. If this thing ticks NW just a bit coastal MA is right back in it. Still lots for models to resolve especially with these cutoff events they're tricky to pin down sometimes as you know.
  9. Lol! I've done enough diaper changes today this is much more entertaining.
  10. I certainly think there is a lot of potential here for a few reasons: 1. Norlun trough setup, so someone could certainly get a crush job 2. Coastal cut-off --> long duration snow event 3. Firehose potential perhaps? Curious to see what others think I'm definitely intrigued by it
  11. Got a little excited and put together a brief gif. Couldn't help it https://twitter.com/weather_chest/status/1344915094749253633
  12. Ratios are going to be insane in MN tomorrow. Easily 20-25:1. Pure fluff. EDIT: Technically today, lost track of the time
  13. You can grab old radar loops here: https://www2.mmm.ucar.edu/imagearchive/
  14. Yeah I only got like 10" in Lowell and Dedham got like 20"
  15. Yeah good memory. They got absolutely pummeled. I remember mets (including myself) changed the forecast like 4-5 times. It was insane. Euro did pretty good with that storm all things considered.
  16. I remember that storm, one of the greatest forecast busts in recent memory. Thanks Fujiwhara.
  17. Yeah when I was living up there he was my go-to along with Lemanowitz on Fox. So is he back on TV now or he never left?
