Low of 10 again here, 3 year streak of no single digits continues.

Low of 10 here. No single digits here since Jan 31st, 2019 (1,081 days) which had a low of 3, this may change tonight (hopefully not).

NWS Eastern headquarters being located in an office park next to ISP is so random. I’ve actually been inside of that building a few times and never knew.

Low was 14, temp already up to 30. Wtf. It was still in the teens like 30 minutes ago.

You can see differences of 10+ degrees on Wunderground over the span of a few blocks.

16 here in Stony Brook. Winds are dead calm thankfully, you could’ve told me it was 38 and I would’ve agreed. Fake cold lol. 20 at home, dipped to 19 which is the lowest of the season so far.

As an asthmatic my lungs are grateful for the dearth of arctic airmasses so far this season. 52 and overcast, much better than the reverse (25).

Mood flakes seem to be underrated on here, I’m surprised no one’s mentioned it. I’ll take snow squalls and mood flakes any day of the week over the higher impact systems (unless thundersnow is present).

December 21st in Centereach, NY: The tree on the left is still mostly green, and the trees that have turned must’ve done so recently as the leaves are still hydrated, otherwise they would’ve blown off in the recent wind events.
