  1. No freeze here. Temp was 33 when I left. Car was 34/35 from home to the LIE, then dropped to 29 from the LIE to Middle Country Road.
  2. Low of 36 here. Light frost on the tops of cars but nowhere else. Tropical plants unfazed. Temp was 38 upon entering Connetquot, quickly plummeted to 33, rebounded back to 38 after exiting, increasing by 1 degree roughly every block or so.
  3. Winter of 2020 was rather pleasant, I’d like a do over.
  4. Bit of a lull here for the past couple of hours, light rain here with the heavy stuff to the east and west. Just over 3” has fallen so far, still some potential to make this the wettest calendar of the year (and in recent years).
  5. 69/43 split today. Didn’t expect to almost reach 70, nor did I expect to see low 40’s.
  6. High of 62. Low was 48. 53 right now but it feels colder. Had a nice double rainbow a short while ago.
  7. 80 today. 82 yesterday. Fall has been very kind to us thus far.
  8. High of 69 today. Humid and mostly bright overcast. I generally hate backdoors but today wasn’t/isn’t terrible, still t-shirt weather.
  9. Low of 50 here. I don’t like this one bit.
  10. 2.71” here, which is far more than I was anticipating and this is possibly the wettest event this year for me. 6.78” for the month.
  11. 77/74 right now with a nice tropical breeze. High of 83, low of 73.
  12. 80/70 and sunny in Suffolk. Didn’t rain at all.
  13. And even with watches/warnings some people simply don’t get the message. Even as a weather enthusiast, the March 2010 Nor’easter caught me completely off guard, I’d known nothing about it at all, it was simply a normal day, until it wasn’t. We were in Garden State Plaza all day and stepped outside into what resembled a landfalling Hurricane, just minutes before the mall lost power. Being on the GWB during all of this, as it was closing, is still my #1 wildest/scariest weather moment, the wind gusts were literally lifting up the front of our vehicle, and MOVING it, in the outer lane, in heavy traffic. Those gusts had to be well in excess of 100mph, I don’t know how they kept that bridge open for as long as they did.
