First freeze (and heavy frost) here, low was 31.

Nope. Still one of the better storms of the year here, probably #2 or #3 on my list and ahead of every t-storm from 2018 to 2020.

Will I see hail for the first time in my life today? (Knocking on all wood in a 50ft radius) 62 with full sunshine here, winds have been occasionally gusty.

Foliage is all over the place here. London Planes are balding while some oaks, ginkgos, etc. range from fully green to peak.

My low this morning was 60. High of 66, currently 56.

LGA made into January without a freeze a few years ago.

No freeze here. Temp was 33 when I left. Car was 34/35 from home to the LIE, then dropped to 29 from the LIE to Middle Country Road.

Low of 36 here. Light frost on the tops of cars but nowhere else. Tropical plants unfazed. Temp was 38 upon entering Connetquot, quickly plummeted to 33, rebounded back to 38 after exiting, increasing by 1 degree roughly every block or so.

Winter of 2020 was rather pleasant, I’d like a do over.

Winds are ripping now. If this keeps up there may be a number of trees coming down, I already came across one and had to turn around.

4.33” event total. Very likely the wettest event of the year so far. Strong breeze currently.

Just cleared 3.50”. Total for the month - 3.95” 89% of October’s rainfall has fallen today.

Bit of a lull here for the past couple of hours, light rain here with the heavy stuff to the east and west. Just over 3” has fallen so far, still some potential to make this the wettest calendar of the year (and in recent years).

1.40” here so far. The largest totals are to the west, per usual.

69/43 split today. Didn’t expect to almost reach 70, nor did I expect to see low 40’s.
