  1. Today just has that 100° feeling to it, even if it isn’t attained the potential seems there. It’s very hot very early.
  2. If Dec-Feb could be +5 with no temps under 15, basically 2020 all over again, I’d have very little to complain about. Couple that with a Mar/Apr resembling 2012 while retaining our current summers and I’d be in a permanent state of euphoria.
  3. 93/75 split today. Feels like breath outside, which isn’t necessarily a complaint.
  4. 90/80/106 If only could get some cloud seeding going on.
  5. High of 93. Currently 81. Low was 73.
  6. 89/75/99 Averaging 91/70 since the first heat wave began on 7/19.
  7. 89 under cloud cover. Love these types of days. High of 90 so far, the 20th of the year, and heat wave day 4.
  8. If the NWS finds Newark’s readings to be in error at least it’ll be fixed, not sure if they adjust any records but Central Park is a known issue with no solution in sight. As dry as it’s been I don’t think Newark’s readings are divorced from reality, but what do I know.
  9. 94 here. Officially a heat wave.
  10. 91. LI sea breeze & CT sea breeze both clearly visible as they’re the only clouds in the sky. Interesting phenomenon.
  11. Taken from the south shore of Suffolk, fairly tall storms over CT.
  12. All I want for Christmas is a Sept 2010-style macroburst/tornado event centered on KNYC.
  13. High of 92. Currently 86.
  14. It’s too bad today won’t reach 90, I could’ve had my second heat wave. Hit 91 yesterday. Low of 62 this morning. Too cool for me.
  15. Snuck in a 90 with ~30 min break of sunshine earlier. Currently 85.
  16. 88/73 split today. My ideal summer day. 0.00” for today although the ground was wet this morning.
  17. ISP’s 13” in 3 hours in 2014 really continues to stand out for me with all of these extreme rainfall events. 3 hours. More than 1 month’s worth of rain per hour.
  18. High of 84. Low of 76. Heat Wave: 93, 98, 92, 96, 97, 97
