    I’m at camp at 1500’ in elevation about 10 mile NE of Moreisville with a view of Mansfield and looked up just as I read this and noticed it behind the fuzzy snow shield. Edit: Elmore Mt. was just enveloped.

    I agree with this. November can waffle back and forth. So far we are +2.7° for the first week of November, which seems within what would be a "normal" range if you consider the variable nature that November has.

    I was 20 years old but had made the 18 year old drinking age cutoff 2 years earlier. Pretty sure I was liquored up in some bar with everyone else who was home for the holiday. Don’t remember snow.

    Cat paws mixing with the rain here on the Canadian border in Derby. Temp on the car thermo was 38 when I stopped for lunch.

    What a difference its been from your place over to here. We have finally been getting some rain over the last 4-6 weeks but before that it had been dry to the point that people with wells were starting to have issues. As PF pointed out in the post below yours, we seem to be coming out of that now.

    The Valley is awesome. Beautiful area, lots to do. Lawson’s just opened up their new brewery in Waitsfield.

    Pretty raw day, even had snizzle falling when I left work.

    It has been discussed ad nauseum but I still get a bit shook at cold and snow too early. I'm always fearing the '89 style snap back.

    About 1/2” of slushy accumulation here. Starts around 1200’ elevation.
