    It's been coming through MPV in waves. Vis drops significantly for several minutes to near whiteout and then it relaxes

    Yeah, I've lived in NNE since I was 8 years old. If we held on to this snow pack all the way through, it would be unprecedented in my memory. I don't know what he is expecting. Of course it could just be sarcasm.

    When I was a teenager, we had a dog that we couldn't keep in. He got out one day and was shot by a game warden for chasing deer. I have felt guilty about not doing a better job of keeping him confined for nearly 35 years. I've always maintained that dogs aren't the problem, owners are and I was the problem in this instance.

    It was for me but not for more snow. I grew up in a narrow valley with steep sides. For a good portion of the year I would go to school in the dark and the sun would set behind the hill by 2:00 in winter. I decided early on that I wanted to be a hill person rather than a valley person. More sun

    My lawn looks fine. An unbroken blanket of white hides the leaves and grass that needed one more mowing.
