The northern cell now has a tornado on the ground as well. Velocity scans look pretty impressive for this area.

I think a lot of the heavier returns happened after their hourly observation.

Very nice early season storm here. Nice CG lightning and very heavy rain (not much thunder though). Some solid winds as well.

Massive TDS on that now.

This went a bit north of them, but there's a huge debris ball on radar now so it hit something. Looking on Google Maps, that area is somewhat rural but not completely uninhabited.

This is potentially a violent tornado, hopefully the showers to its south cut off the inflow before it moves into a more populated area.

PDS tornado warning for the couplet south of Hokinsville. Even if it's staightline winds' those are some big boy velocity scans.

Unfortunately it ended up being another significant nighttime event with multiple strong deadly tornadoes. There were at least 7 deaths reported so far (5 in TX and 2 in Oklahoma) from the tormadoes north of Dallas and northeast of Tulsa.

That tornado that moved through Claremore looked pretty bad.

Latest HRRR shows nothing for Oklahoma the rest of the night and no notable updrafts in Kansas.

Yep, awefully quiet so far. We've seen some events kick off relatively late this year so we'll see if things pick up soon.

That isolated supercell east of Wichita Falls that's crossing into OK now is really taking off. I think that's the strong cell the HRRR has trekking through southern OK for the next few hours.
