    It’s amazing how much of a difference that 10-degree dewpoint drop makes! Feels great outside, even though it’s still pretty moist!

    Not a drop of rain (yet) in Brooklyn Heights, but things look like they're rocking up in Harlem and the Bronx!

    Sky looked wild here for a bit and we got some gusty winds. But just a few raindrops was all that came afterwards. Not even a clap of thunder! Weird storm.

    Easily a gust to 50mph on the Brooklyn Heights Promenade. Seeing some sizable tree limbs down on Hicks Street, blocking traffic.

    I’ve posed this same question here before too. Sometimes, the radar seems to light up once storms push far offshore.

    Nothing but some rain drops and a few rumbles in Brooklyn Heights. Sky is quite dark though.

    No hail in Brooklyn Heights, but wind gusts probably approached severe limits. I see plenty of tree limbs down. Amply loud cracks of thunder too!

    Snow had lightened up for 15 mins in Brooklyn Heights. Back to mod/heavy now though. Looks like we've gotten about an additional 1.5 inches since last night. Pretty kewl!

    I completely forgot about the coastal! I now have that feeling like when I find random money in my pockets!

    Had 100% sleet for about 15 mins, but now it's back to mostly snow and rimmed flakes in Brooklyn Heights.

    I think the long duration on the RGEM and GGEM results from multiple waves though, not slow storm movement, right?.

    I didn't think it was possible until DC went through Snowmageddon in 09-10. If they are susceptible to a blizzard parade, then so are we! Here's to hoping!

    Moderate snow now in Brooklyn Heights. About 1/2" of new snow on a recently-dusted-off car top outside my window.

    Light snow in Brooklyn Heights. Nice to see winter (hopefully) settling in for a bit!
