  1. hit 74 here earlier but down to 68-still a nice day out there
  2. 1.00 here...the morning event (.79) was better than the eve (.21). GFS wins one for a change. Looking forward to a nice weekend with temps in the 60's. Vegetation will rocket out with the sun and warmth after the rain
  3. DCA -1.0 NYC -1.5 BOST -2 ORD even ATL +1 IAH +2 DEN +3 PHX +2 SEA +2
  4. new 3K NAM jackpots NJ while the regular NAM screws them
  5. warm front through here-some blue skies to the south and temps have jumped to 58
  6. totally calm here...odd it's that much windier just west .79 at BDR from the first batch. brighter skies off the to south but having trouble moving north
  7. saw that. An outlier though when compared to everything else-the RGEM and NAM are wet and Euro only slightly less so.
  8. some places will crack 3 inches by tomorrow for sure.
  9. A wet end to April-up to 3 inches in some select spots!
  10. Clouds have burned off here.....maybe we'll sneak in a half way decent day....
  11. even if it's not sizzling with those warm ocean temps (gulf and Atl) I think we have potential to be really humid.....Bluewave notes the humid summers of recent-I think this one will be no exception unless we get a persistent -EPO dropping cool/dry highs in
  12. where's all the rain today? Looks like bulk of the day could be dry....
  13. NAM back to wet for tonight/tomorrow
  14. Friday's storm trending south-northern parts of the area get very little now....
  15. the biggest positive anomolies were in July for sure with close to 100 degree heat around 7/20 or so....
  16. pea/marble size hail here-covered the ground-2nd biggest "snowcover" of the season!
  17. I agree-lots of sun this spring despite the cooler temps-some years we end up with days and days of overcast....
  18. read above. -NAO, -EPO pattern for awhile. Meanwhile today is shaping up to be nice-sunny and low 60's here
  19. Nasty day here, rain ended but then just had another shower. 42 degrees-let's hope that -NAO falls apart in the longer range
  20. Looks like we warm up nicely starting Sunday-temps in the 60's.
  21. alot more sunny days this year vs last. It's cool, but if the sun's out it feels warmer and it does alot for the pysche during these trying times.
  22. not much cold has made it to the east coast even with the -NAO, seems alot different than last year which had rains/clouds/chilly weather relentlessly
  23. in other news, the Euro continues with its theme of killing the MJO in phase 2, so we'll get back to the torch in no time
