  3. with the snowcover and ice on waterways and oceans cold I doubt anyone NYC north and east sees 70's
  4. Complete disaster here this AM! Strange that ours said "we though the heaviest snow would be after all students were at school" Strange, didn't see any forecast or model with the heaviest here after 9am.
  5. Yet for the blizzard they came in with 20 which seems high-I was 15-16 here

  8. about an inch over CT and eastern LI is from the clipper
  9. I always heard the GFS did better with northern stream systems and this was a Miller B so maybe that's part of it?
  10. Just ended here with 3 inches-snow plow had to come by
  11. Anything to downplay it. Do people forget it was with temps b/w 30-32 the entire storm and it's late February?
  12. it was awful and ineffective so the CT legislature made it illegal lol (Public schools)
  13. Still-in a snowy winter you could rack up 10 snow days doing that. The only saving grace this year was that 3 of the storms were on weekends otherwise we'd already be at 7-8 days with a few weeks to go
  14. it's amazing we close schools here for an inch of snow....
  15. The enormous piles aren't going anywhere anytime soon so you'll see those
