Ant, how’d you do up in Brooklyn? -

L-Town FTW at least in PA for this one. We just barely got into some of those heavier bands last night for a few hours and it made a difference. My brother and sister in lower makefield and yardley said they have around 6-6.5” while we are up to 8”. Still snowing moderate too. Don’t think we hit double digits but 9 may be doable. -

8” in Levittown and still falling at a decent clip. Lots of drifting out there. -

Take some videos! The wind down there must be insane if we are gusting in the 30 mph range this far inland. -

Heaviest snow of the storm right now, eye balling at least 4”-4.5” right now. Think I’m in until 5 or 6 am to measure officially though. Winds beginning to howl. -

Enjoy man! Curious to see if your blizzard warnings end up verifying. How much do you think you have so far? -

Wind starting to pick up and the light fluffy nature of the snow is making it difficult to get a good measurement. Averaged around 2.5” measuring in multiple spots across the yard away from roofs and trees. 3” including this mornings snow. My snowboard is useless tonight though lol I think we are in good shape to hit warning criteria down here with the HRRR not tapering things off until noon tomorrow. I think between 2-6 am should see our heaviest stuff though or it may just be this steady .5”/hr stuff though until it lightens up. All in all pretty good storm so far down here. Would love to hear more reports down on SNJ. They look to be getting slammed. Definitely on track for my expectations of 6” though. I definitely recommend taking a night walk which I may do in a few hours. Feels like SNE powdah storm. I’m enjoying this one so far. Chasing just doesn’t have the same memorability as experiencing it in your backyard. No knock to anyone that chases though, different strokes for different folks. -

Dude weren’t you only under a winter weather advisory? Plus the storm isn’t even close to over yet… storm is still on track for a large part of the sub forum. I know it sucks being on the wrong side of the gradient but there will be another storm where you get smoked while 95 east rains or sleets. -

Looks to be 2” out there so far and coming down nicely. 2.5” including the .5” this morning. Going out at midnight for an official measurement though. Still have 12 hours to go and haven’t gotten into the true heavy stuff yet. Could be in for a real nice event here in Levittown. -

Man you picked a great spot to chase. Hit the casinos and walk out on the boardwalk to experience blizzard conditions. Sounds like a great time. Hope you have a good time! -

Had to drive my girlfriend down to northeast Philly so she could take care of the cats she’s pet sitting and side roads are already beginning to cave with moderate snow. The boulevard though is just mostly wet. Looks to to be at least an inch already down here but I’m just eye balling. -

I’m actually in probably the best possible location in SE PA for this one being at the very tip of the lower keystone so hoping that pays off. My expectations are warning level snows, 6”. Root for me to get a foot though because that means you guys n and w will be getting higher totals too light snow has begun, good luck everyone… And if anyone is on the fringe I got a case of beer in the fridge, come on over for a snow party -

Just went for a walk in downtown Trenton over my lunch...light snow continuing to fall. Nothing really sticking on paved surfaces, probably about .5" on the grass and unpaved surfaces. A nice little appetizer until the main show later on. -

I think 6-10" for 95 corridor seems like a safe bet now. 3-6" N and W with less as you head further away. East of 95 8-12" with 12"+ at the coast. Let's hope for some good surprises here on out and bump these totals up a bit more -

GFS just ticked back west at 12z, there's also signs that it may come a bit further west. Coastal hasn't even developed yet. -

You're cleaning up with the front right now Paul, I don't think any model had your area at almost 2" already. Even though you may be too far west for the best banding of the coastal, you may still score a decent event. -

Yeah I like 6-8" right now with an outside shot of double digits. My baseline is warning level event and I think we'll hit that. At least we won't have to worry about sleet this go around. -

Could you imagine if the NAM is right ... 44.9" at Toms River Whoever said Kuchera ratio is crap is likely right...still.. My mt. holly forecast is 4-11", largest range I've seen but very understandable. Would be amazed though if we see a foot+ around 95. This just seems like one to sit back and watch unfold. None of the model's had this snow as robust as it looks this morning. Most didn't have precip beginning until this afternoon including the latest HRRR. Even though most people are aware of the storm, I don't think many were expecting it to begin so early, afternoon commute could be a nightmare... Right now light snow is falling in Trenton. -
