  1. The great drizzle of 2025 continue, we have received .03” today with our heaviest rates right now. .12” on the storm. It’s definitely effectively crappy outside.
  2. Waste management gave our town fancy new heavy duty trash cans this year so thankfully no trash cans were harmed or blown away.
  3. .09” on the event so far and I’ll honestly be shocked if we finish with more than .25”. Have had some drizzle this morning, actually more than yesterday though. Winds are still gusting though doesn’t seem as bad as last night. If this was snow it would of been March 01 all over again.
  4. I will say the wind is performing pretty good so far, already gusts in the 30-35 mph range in the 95 corridor, 40 mph+ at the shore already. still bone dry here, no rain yet today.
  5. Setting up for winter early lol but really crazy that it was looking a total weekend washout now mostly just going to be some drizzle and wind.
  6. No offense bro but thank god you’re not running the team. Jalen Carter is a generational DT talent. You don’t give those away. Not to mention safety is one of the lowest positional values in the league. You’re not getting a player of Carter’s caliber back even if you got 10 first rounders. That’s why I laugh at what GB paid for Parsons. That is absolutely nothing for a generational pass rusher. They don’t grow on trees and they aren’t available every draft. There is no trade of Jalen Carter that doesn’t make the team significantly worse.
  7. Last fall repeat and ngl im here for it. Endless sunny and 70’s days and low 50/upper 40 nights. Let’s keep this going until about mid November.
  8. I’m having flashbacks from last fall, endless sunny days with clear skies and no rain in sight. I have a feeling we are going to need a tropical system to break up the upcoming dryness.
  9. 3.5” rain yesterday sheesh. We have 4.7” of rain now in August in 2 events lol
  10. Yeah drought guy will be making an appearance by next weekend. Long range pattern looking dry barring any tropical systems. This week should be beautiful.
  11. Wow we have double down here. 6.2" on the month. But vast majority of that was in 2 events earlier in the month.
  12. This has been a nice respite from the heat and humidity. Unfortunately looks like it's cranking back up again starting tomorrow.
  13. Well there will truly be surprise pop up thunderstorms the next few days with no radar. Do the local news stations have their own radar or do they just license out NWS data? 97F/72 at 2PM. I don't think we will hit 100 again but we shall see.
  14. Made it up to 101.5F. Hottest I can remember in quite some time. Seems like most heat waves we’ve had the last decade underperform because of the humidity. This event had the mixing out of moisture that made the triple digit heat widespread. Pretty historic event!
  15. My DP has dropped from 75 to 73 in the last 2 hours so I think we make 100 here, we shall see! 99/73 is still a 110 heat index YUCK
  16. 99F at 2 pm there’s like 4 other stations within 2 miles away at or above 100F.
  17. Im watering twice a day right now, once in the morning and once at night and my veggies are doing great. They droop during the day but I swear my zucchini and cucumber plants doubled in size overnight. They are loving the humidity… 96F at 12 pm here. Will be close if we actually hit triple digits. also, we had a power surge early this morning at like 6 am. That was scary. No power in this heat would be no beuno.
  18. Several stations in Levittown are at or above 100. My personal station is at 98F currently down from a high of 99F. Crazy that KTTN about 10-15 miles away is only at 93F for a high today so far.
  19. Man this decaying MCS has produced several pretty good wind gusts. Way windier than I thought it’d be.
  20. Is that stuff up north definitely going to fall apart before reaching here? Sure seems to be heading on a trajectory to hit se pa and most of NJ. I can already hear thunder and it’s been inching further and further south. I mean I hope it does, it’ll really throw off the thermal forecast. My point and click is saying only 20% chance of rain though. Edit: I’m literally watching the 30 frame loop on RadarScope and there’s no just way this isn’t going to clip the Lehigh valley, and bucks/montco/philly on east.
  21. Still no power this morning, current estimation is 11 pm tonight. One of the better storms we’ve had in awhile. Were there any confirmed wind readings? My anemometer on my station has been wonky for awhile so I don’t really trust it but I’d say they were easily in the 60-70 mph range. My 160 pound canoe flipped over from where I had it hanging on two barrels. From putting it there I can tell you it takes a lot of force to do that. Huge trees and branches down across the area too, think I read 15,000 in Levittown alone without power. One weird thing was how little lightning and thunder we had with it.
