    Friend just landed at JFK said turbulence was really bad around 3k feet plane was getting bounced around real hard

    They are stopping salt use up in the Lake George (Adirondacks) area due to runoff into the lake. Just sand this winter, they put up road signs that just say Ice.

    Its rain should pass south of the New York City Metro area later tomorrow and tomorrow night. There is a small chance that a few showers could reach the area. Parts of the Middle Atlantic region including Washington and Baltimore could see a period of rain from Nestor. It’s raining to Canada.... almost every model busted?

    That is the top of little whiteface, 3676 feet summit is over 1k feet higher 4867. Sure they are getting blasted with winds, is the summit weather station available online?
