Those of us that have less between the Ears than many of the prime poster benefit by being able to read and appreciate the passion. Even if the saltwater is up to our ankles. Besides it would be like someone telling you to stop trolling which would be sad because when it comes from you it’s fun to reply. Let the talk continue, As always ....
  2. Morning IR. The postage stamp is still green, sorta. Considering that their are Ten families, 3 restaurants, 1 store, 1 house of worship and one daycare/pre school on a plot of land probably equal to one home in your neighborhood, fall should be delayed awhile longer. The postage stamp was going throug G R long before it became a popular topic, Be well, as always .....

  4. Very interesting graph, B. From a non skilled background and just looking at the last 700 years it sure looks like our species could have had some responsibility for reversing what might have been the end of the last interglacial period. As always ....
  5. It could most certainly hurt to be your avatar in that weather, although you could be Forky’s. As always .....
  6. Thank goodness for the test result. On another note at my age, heritage and regarding the source of your common cold infection, it’s the only part of my carcass, where I can accurately, if not proudly, say mine is bigger than yours. As always
  7. Thank you, Don. Excellent article for a common persons ease of understanding. Considering the, as described, human initiated fix, the article could have easily been subtitled, Damned if you do/Damned if you don’t. The natural balancing, to right the global problem, when it comes, will be out of our hands. As always ....
  8. From what I’ve read in the New England forum, their is a growing concern for the droughts effects on the flora and the potential for fire. Your fine graphic underlines their fears. As always.....

  11. Yes sir. Historical or hysterical depending on your politics and if you have to deal with city landmarks to get permission to do work on your own row house. I’m on Tompkins Place between Court and Clinton, Kane and Degraw. Where, if I may ask, did you’d sister live? As always ....

  15. I found the stone fences so natural. Did you or previous owners erect it? Is it older than your residence or the others in the area? It is graceful and unobtrusive what better boundary than earths own stone. As always ....

  18. I’m old, I R and even through this magnificent stretch of weather I’ve left my front window open. The invigorating morning low temperature forces me and my blood ( however much I have left ) to get moving as I venture into the wilds of my NYC postage stamp and endure the harsh 48 degree chill. As always ....
  19. “Light their way When darkness surrounds them; Give them love. Let it shine all round.” A potent lyric and sentiment. One that, apparently, you have demonstrated many times. As always .....

  21. Forky must realize that the way things are going with the atmosphere you could end up with both. As always...

  23. I wonder sometimes why anyone needs an artificial stimulant when all you have to do is open your senses to the natural world. As you and others have aptly described in word and photo. The most effective drug ever created is all around us. All one need do is allow the high to take hold. In this case the hope is that it will become addictive. As always ....
