After reading Will’s response to Walt in the January thread ….. we may have to sink that buoy. Stay well all, as always. ….
  2. Good afternoon SMLI. I just read that the last light keeper, in the nation, has retired. She was at the Boston Light. I pray you have many years left for your dream to come true. Chronologically mine will always remain as a dream until I can dream no more. May you reach your light by rail, someday. As always …..
  3. Good morning v_e. I had to look up slap skateboarding. I was relieved to find that it’s a wonderful pastime for the young and fit. When I first read it, I had U Tube visions of Will cruising around slapping folks at random. Stay well, as always ….
  4. Gravity that, by far, is one of the more interesting takes on Patrick Henry’s statement. Stay well and calm. As always ….
  5. Good afternoon bgms. My dream was to live, close to a lighthouse, somewhere on the NNE coast. Even though such a reality is surely gone, the dream will always remain. As always ….

Stay well, as always …
  7. Good evening BxE. Might be a bit extreme but I understand your reasoning. Stay well, as always …..

  9. We must always remember what we have because we may never forget what we’ve lost. Happy New year everyone. As always …..
  10. Happy Christmas and Blessed New Year LBSF and all forum members. Even through the overcast, late last night, my favorite light still did shine on the postage stamp. Stay well. As always …..
  11. Thank you Julian. Late last night I walked out into the postage stamp, no jacket, just to feel the chill but not very cold Christmas Eve night. I was alone, as I’ve been for the last six years but then I felt I wasn’t. I listened to the unusual quiet of this inner city Sunday night. In the silence I found all I was looking for. The lights of a celebrating neighbor, my four very special snowflakes that regardless of the boundary layer …. never melt and finally looking up I saw through the overcast the light that has never left me. Happy Christmas and blessed New Year to you and all our forum members. As always …
  12. Don’t blame me …. We all thought this was forky’s house. Happy Christmas and blessed New Year, just the same. As always …..
