Man, weekend really not looking ideal

Many years ago (early 1950s?) Isaac Asimov wrote a SF short story about a future time when everyone had powerful pocket calculators, and no one knew how to do basic arithmetic. Then this mousy little man came to the "genius" leaders to show how to multiply and divide. The leaders were flabbergasted by this wonderful "invention" but soon worked to find ways to use it to enhance weaponry. The "inventor", totally disheartened, then committed suicide. Approaching 80 here under hazy sun, still reasonable dews. Probably will want to use the AC setting on the heat pump tomorrow. (That's the only reason we bought the thing.)

Don’t you run 10 miles every morning even in Persian Gulf dews? Why so much fear installing?

I think there is enough evidence that BWI’s temps have been off since the tarmac was expanded a few years ago not note that it’s more of a problem now than DCA

Changed the filters then slid the button from heat to cool back in April and haven’t looked back since. Though the 12z GFS says I might need the heat on for Fathers Day lol

I'm in Marco Island, FL -- this heavy stuff is aimed to train right over us for the next several hours. It already looks like a tropical storm out there. Precip discussion mentions 3 inch per hour rates with some spots of 5 inches possible

I'm one-- happily and comfortably so. If Ms. Mother N. hadn't wanted us to breathe in pine pollen and all the other detritus of the season floating around out there, she'd have fitted us with filtering gills or some such thing. I'm sitting in the living room, no fans, just a nice soft breeze stirring through, breathing in whatever she sends this way. (Oh, strange coincidence-- no one I know who's regularly out there "earthing" runs away shrieking at the sight of a random peanut or two...)

Gently place the AC in the window and Hummmmmmmmmmmmm He installed it….put this in for Daddy He installed it….. What do you want me to do with it? Don’t matter just install it…

Good catch, the biggest April to May QBO drop on record! Based on the past, the odds are increased that it will dip to sub -20 by winter and possibly even by autumn. But not for certain, of course.
