I’m going to bed

Funny enough the GFS might be trying to do something with the now delayed s/w out west...just spitballing. Let's see
-
Gfs even more smothered this run. Nothing coming north into that high.
-
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with this start to the 0z suite. Amped and suppressed. Then there’s something to be found in the middle. It’ll be a problem when the majority of the models start trending in the same *wrong* direction. Until then, it’s all still on the table.
-
It’s basically everything but snow for us
-
Snowfall in Chicago is the football equivalent of matriculating the ball downfield with tush pushes and two yard bubble screens.
-
Some people say ice some say suppressed lol

Off to bed, last part of the weekend ended up underperforming out here....unless some magical backbuilding occurs later, we will finish with another 1.6"...weekend total 7.7" -
Can already tell this gonna be suppressed again

4.4 totals for all events here. Probably closer to 5 but ill take it. A few snow showers are still possible later. -
Gfs is only consistent on surpressed solutions

Could only see surface temps. Just glad it’s a big precip maker still

Another rare winter storm with minimal wind. Snow falling almost vertical so very easy to measure. Right around 3.75”, should end up +4” of heavy wet paste. Performing well on Cape Cod despite accumulation not beginning until after 4PM. -
Energy out west is either slower or it's wester vs 18z
-
0.2” here and that did mash down to a mess but now that’s evaporated
-
Gfs Ai thingy says snow to ice storm than back to snow next weekends big system!
-
I like how models go either 1 or 10 with us, lol. Suppressed...amp'd. sheesh.
-
Looks to be a snow to ice scenario. Surface temps are plenty cold but 850s are torching
-
I'm not even sure what i just watched with the GFS Ai..1005 LP in North TX the backs up in to CO, then followed by 3 1005 LPs (1 in KY, 1 along Gulf, 1 still in CO)
