Still has the inverted trough. I'd guess operational will have it again too. -

Honestly, snapshot this moment. It’s perfectly indicative of how bad the models have been this winter, especially in the mid range. How can you base any forecast off of anything right now? -

That's also just a product of the poor airmass we have ahead of the system. It wouldn't shock me if places started as rain, especially along the coast, before the system gets wound up. Assuming this system does impact, of course. -

Looks like a few inches to a lot of zr . Then a norlun flips back to accumulating snow overnight into Saturday. My kind of storm

Oh, it was sarcasm. Couched in some anticipation that it might be banded in nature if this is LBSW and expanding as it gets here. Honestly I’d be happy but also disappointed for my own experience and ready for warmth, easy commutes, and running around with the kids. I think that’s part of the reality and fun on the hobbyist side.

just updated it, replaced the image on the previous page

Gfs is lol. 2.35” qpf up here for the event

Thats pretty much what it looked like at that point on the previous run. Its beyond that where the action happens.

I doubt it would have as good as the Gfs because it's warmer, but it still should deepen pretty good imho. H5 actually looks better than Gfs. Compare it to Gfs. -

But west of the 0z gefs and more west leaning members, it’s not like gefs is OTS if anything it’s trending towards the op… wether that’s right or not tbd

I don't even think I got a tenth of an inch of rain. Anyone who thought their truck was getting rinsed off will just have to visit one of the many car washes that dot the landscape -

Yeah i saw that on MLs well into the Berks. QPF doesn't reflect that well with a hole over the CTRV, if only that can hold or improve would be nice -
Pike area has some questions but maybe 2-4 there and a bunch of sleet? 4-6 north and maybe 1-2 well south.
