  1. Past hour
  2. I see .70 Taunton I see .60-.67 S Wey With another hour of rains to go
  3. 1.82 inches so far for me. Not bad, but I thought I would have had a bit more. McDowell County seems to have been the jackpot area in the foothills. @wncsnow. your totals are rocking!
  4. Shower/sprinkle fest has been super annoying lol. I've been lucky the scraps added up over time but it's days of watching rain miss to the north and now south lol
  5. I feel like this happens a lot on Memorial Day weekend, but the data might say otherwise. We all needed the rain though so it’s worth it.
  6. I remember Memorial Day weekend in 2020 it was another rainy and cold weekend…temps in the mid 40’s with that one here. This one was mid 50’s…but small consolation.
  7. You’re angry and lashing out after a two day rain shut in.
  8. Looks like maybe some good rain for Waldorf and points east of there this PM.
  9. I waited for the rain to stop before I put out the flag. The only one on the block so far. My father and uncles survived WW2. Two uncles were on the same ship that was torpedoed and both made it. Even I, in my advanced age, as it gets harder to remember I still, will endeavor never to forget. As always …
  10. I’m perfectly fine. You seem to be the one really struggling with your forecasts which has been pointed out by many. Bombed? Hate to see it
  11. Genuinely awful. Agreed. This is a rare pattern over a weekend that makes it easy to think back and compare.
  12. I can gladly report that the rain has finally stopped here. Now let’s bring the clearing in.
  13. 1.86" event total here. Obviously bad timing for the holiday weekend, but I'm glad we got it since we really needed the rain. And at least the rain moved out in time for me to cook on the grill outside late yesterday, but I brought the food inside because it was so cool and nasty out there. Later today will be much nicer for sitting outside since it will warm up into the 70s -- I'm glad we can salvage part of the holiday weekend.
  14. GWDLT and suggest you get out and step away from weather boards
  15. Without a doubt. I think this day is done for anybody east of ORH. Might get some clearing early evening but by then the day and holiday are over. Nobody is going out after the weekend we’ve all had with work/school tomorrow
  16. Out east there, you’re in the same predicament today with the rain lingering, as we were out west here Saturday morning, when the rain moved in at 10:30 am and ruined the full day. Where as you guys were dry Saturday during the day, and now hopefully we dry out early today on this end of things.
  17. For sure! We at 48 hrs of nonstop rain here now. But hoping this is about it.
  18. This 72 hour map shows how well much of N ATL metro did as well as much of E GA (not my area), NW 1/2 of SC, part of NC foothills/mtns and E Carolinas, portions of E TN, and some of N AL. It also shows the shaft for the immediate RDU corridor although their best 24 hour period was just prior to this as posted earlier:
  19. Thanks so much for sharing.
