  1. Past hour
  2. Yup, when the Flash Flood Warnings have the "considerable" or higher tag included, it then triggers the Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) and sends to smartphones.
  3. This is ridiculous. It’s like SCT has been singled out for divine punishment. I’m gonna build an aqueduct to S Weymouth if this keeps up.
  4. Poured for about 20 minutes around 3am.. looks like home is getting more again though.. just started raining in leominster
  5. Tons of thunder here just now. Look at that band heading into HVN. 1.33 already.
  6. Just got a different kind of get-my-attention EAS. IMMINENT THREAT ALERT Am down to lighter rain at the moment and now have 2.25" in the bucket since last reported. Temp/dp 70.
  7. Remember this 9/5 CFSv2 AAM run progging 3+ starting Sep 8th and 4+ starting Sep 15? Compare that to the latest released (9/12) showing 3+ not til Sep 15th and 4+ not til Sep 19th!
  8. You do know what endless summer means I’m assuming ? It means AN pattern with any cooldowns minor for a day or two and then right back to warm. Where the summer pattern just continues . Which is exactly what we have been in and is modeled moving forward. No sustained fall or cool other than a day here and there . Last year was not endless summer. This is
  9. I can’t imagine you’d be able to deal with looking out at a lawn filled with weeds and eyesores , and talking about paw paws all summer
  10. On the ferry to ACK. Let’s see some of waterspouts.
  11. I would have felt like a visitation from heaven had occurred if that much had accumulated in my gauge!
  12. I do every year. But with Stein I won’t bother. Maybe I’ll do clovers like Dendrite. Less issues and maintenance.
  13. Guidance keeps suggesting the potential for a multiday rain event starting next weekend sometime. Looks like a stationary front gets stuck between high pressure to the north and the Bermuda high offshore with waves running along it. But timing and the pattern uncertainty at range still exist of course.
  14. Part of the reason you seem to have lawn issues each year is because you’re not aerating and overseeding each September. Obviously Stein hurts , but you could do a lot more to help mitigate lawn risk
  15. Was gonna aerate and overseed but probably not this year.
  16. Why overseed. Lush and green there. No need. Meanwhile I have hay.
  17. As of 8:00 AM, 1.5 inches of H2O so far. Heavy rain here presently.
  18. going to make a run at 4 inches here based on radar
  19. Had some light stuff overnight. But now the heavy stuff is here.
  20. Should be a good drink Boston south. Heavy stuff extrapolates to rt 44 from PVD to PYM. Perhaps a bit north of that.
