Right there with ya. Second big “what if” event of the year. The ensemble members/few OP runs that dove that N/S farther W produced MECSs. Sucks knowing how close we were to something big.

I've only recorded 4 precipitation events in the past 50 days, and two of them combine for less than 0.10". We effectively have the big storm and the Jan 10/11 rain as the only notable events this year so far.

Currently 35.1/34.0 with light rain. A couple times this morning I've went to a rain/snow mix when intensity picked up. Least I saw some mangled flakes. lol. I'd say above 2500-3000 it is likely all (or mostly) snow.

Getting to be that time of the season when a few stragglers cling on trying to find hope on each LR model run. They remind me of that girl at the very end of the college party trying to rally everybody for keg stands when the rest of the people have already gone home or passed out.

Torch tiger has been like metfan this winter except usually it’s metfan posting bombs at 300+ hours that never verify. This season it’s been Torch posting 300+ hour warm spells that never verify.
