  1. Past hour
  2. Radar blossoming down into eastern GA. August is going to get into the action very soon. Gianna is bombing away!
  3. It’s coming your way. It’s been over-performing so far. Y’all just gotta be patient. .
  4. Utilities look like they're holding steady. Might change as this low heading over Columbia starts to wrap around
  5. Per previous discussions fair to say we’re likely 2 miles apart. Not a great sample size but thus far you have 1.5” I have 0.75”. I think you could literally split Alamance co in half - hwy 49 and up union ridge rd they 62 is the line. Per that latest mess discussion. I keep hope. That being said wouldn’t want to be in Mebane right now.
  6. It’s been blowing the entire time, so roadways and grass don’t look it, but yes we have an inch where I’m at right now and counting. Wind gusts are 20 mph right now and it’s blowing all the snow all over .
  7. Ripping Fatties here in Dahlonega NE GA! about 2 inches on the ground as of 10am
  8. Logan is lucky they have someone who measures never mind snow depth.
  9. Fail. Late evening flurries developed yesterday and have continued all day today. So 18 days in a row with snow falling
  10. You mean.... Longest! Lol Ha, at least you stuck to your guns and went down with that ship! I'm sure we all secretly hoped for a last minute change
  11. FWIW it’s been over-performing over here in NE GA, so y’all I’m NC are gonna get it hard! Just be patient. .
  12. That’s a bout what we have here on the other side of Waded Hampton BLVD
  13. Been out walking for the past 45 minutes or so with the fam. Rates have been moderate, occasionally picking up in intensity. I am almost at three inches total, but hoping for an uptick this afternoon.
  14. For those of you in the powder today that need to clean your driveways and sidewalks quickly, highly recommend using your leaf blower (gas or battery of course). Just cleaned the first 3-4" off my driveway in a few minutes. Dry powder. Cant wait much longer though or it may be too heavy to efficiently move. Man is it windy out there!
  15. Friday morning was the only morning I ended up below zero here (-3 or -4ºF), I got to exactly 0.0ºF last night. Light influences from the developing coastal in the form of light wind and cloudcover as you mentioned likely kept things from fully decoupling. Still been a heck of a cold stretch, when the temps likely fail to reach 20ºF again here today that will break the longest streak of days under 20ºF for KAOO that goes back to 1948 for that station. That was 7 consecutive days set in Feb 1979, and today will make the 8th day. The lows in western PA the last few nights have been wild where there has been ideal radiational cooling conditions. For official ASOS stations, the coldest I saw for last night was -20ºF north of Pittsburgh at Zelionople Municipal Airport (KPJC).
  16. It is still early for Wake. It'll get cranking this afternoon. Just be patient.
  17. LMFAO...Talking about this 2 weeks out? Garbage.
  18. Near 10 inches now. I'll take another measurement to report to GSP around 12:30. A couple of shots from the front porch.
  19. Up to 2 inches so far. Looks like most models are going to bust low on the NW periphery. Not sure if I can squeak another inch out but the mesos aren't going to do well with this one in my yard. 15 degrees and the wind is picking up. Roads dont look like roads lol. Snowmobiling isnt a thing down here but I sure wish I had one today lol. Deep winter.
