It seemed like an odd decision to postpone Friday evening events with the bulk of the storm off shore till tomorrow AM. But I would think it's to allow them enough time to break down the stage and equipment before conditions become hazardous to the crews.

For our birdbrains here: not expecting an epic Sandy-like fallout of seabirds or unusual migrants (we typically need winds pushing east from the ocean). HST, shorelines from Rehoboth up through New England will almost certainly see some oddball things over the next 48 hours. Even inland lakes and rivers may cash in to some degree. Would LOVE to be at Indian River Inlet or Henlopen for this one.
