hoping to go into NW Berkshire county tomorrow...maybe up around Albany if it looks good for some lightning at least
-
About time for some deranged tiger to chime in about how it's actually a pretty nice day in Shutesbury.
-
Looks like the sun will come out tomorrow around 4 PM, we won't have to wait for Wednesday to clear out. It will rain in the morning and clear out by afternoon.
-
Keep me posted
-
eastern NY into Berkshire County definitely game on for a few strong thunderstorms late tomorrow afternoon and early evening. May see a marginal risk with 13z update tomorrow.

I have an unusual hourly setup later tonight - partly sunny at 7pm, then rain by 8, heavy rain of 4mm at 9, then back to mostly cloudy at 10. Like a pop up storm but only TWN has that risk. WUN has 99% chance of rain while TWN is 60%.

The clouds really get to you after a while. Feel likes it’s like pulling teeth to get the sun out. should be nicer than this on June 9th
-
Hmmm looks like a good chance for rain on Saturday for the parade. What a shame.

I mean just look at this CMC run ... Not that it's very likely to happen this way, but the fact that it's even being modeled by a valid machinery of real physics. Chicago with thickness over 580, with sub-530 N o Maine! On the Solstice of summer. I wonder what that delta circumstance is in historical precedence.

Storms are firing overhead. Just some rain and a rumble of thunder at work. It looks like I missed out on the goods at home. Someone mPing'd pea-sized hail by my house.

Yesterday's total was .78" from 3 showers. 1.68" event total. Respectable. The up to 5" in the forecast yesterday was a bit head-scratching however.

2025 Atlantic Hurricane Season
WxWatcher007 replied to BarryStantonGBP's topic in Tropical Headquarters
EPAC is hot right now. Nothing likely to happen here until that quiets down, but I do still think a window will open. -
today is at least a -10

They did say it would stay in the 60s. Naturally we're going to get lower temps in this kind of pattern. At least it's not cold enough for me to turn on my space heater lol.

Of course 2010 is at the top that's our hottest summer of record here. 1999 is number 2.
