Selling this thing. Not seeing the forcing…Taking the way under on qpf around here… Maybe points south eke out a weak isentropic lift event. I’m expecting a very showery and light radar look up here… where is the surface low? Forming near our Atlantic surface high?
-
I'm up 5 degrees since clouds rolled in.. HRRR is cold we will see if it's right.. mini icestorm.. I'm already 4 degrees warmer than it had for 7am
-
0.4° Glad the frigid temps are gone after this morning

E PA/NJ/DE Spring 2026 Obs/Discussion
Hurricane Agnes replied to PhiEaglesfan712's topic in Philadelphia Region
Even with the "threatening" radar, am only getting some drizzle and graupel (with the latter only barely visible on cold surfaces). Currently 33 with dp 29. -
Is Friday still trending with a colder look?
-
Clouds coming in now at perfect time to lock in cold
-
Reading today's AFD, I knew several days of 70+ temps was too good to be true. There's always a damned wedge.
-
If GFS is to be believed we skip spring and jump straight to summer with no cooldown through the run. EURO cools off mid month at the of its run. I will say with confidence our streak of BN monthly temps will come to an abrupt end this month
-
Not here .. we have a normally scheduled early dismissal and all the schools are on hills, should be fun between 12-1 when all schools in town dismiss today..
-
Icy Friday

-

Nobody and no model can accurately predict the strength of Niños or Niñas the first week of March for the following winter. Anything to try to be the first and for clicks. -
Made it to 49 yesterday, no rainfall
-
Great pic!
-
I’d say 80% of schools in CT have closed
-
Too many clouds IMBY, that’s a great shot
-
That’s sweet

snowfan replied to Ji's topic in Mid Atlantic
I believe this is the first winter since 17-18 that BWI has recorded more than a T of snowfall in 4 straight months (Dec-Mar). -
