  1. Past hour
  2. Welp....guess the Commanders are done. Bad way to end the half and Daniels got injured
  3. Local news are starting to hype this; seems early for them to be getting on board.
  4. Great lol. Injuries galore? https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/cowboys-ravens-brazil-nfl-field/
  5. No idea why we are seeing the same old shit with a completely new coaching staff. Humphrey is mediocre at best at this point. The overall personnel in problematic- the defense looks soft, esp without Madibuike. The OL is problematic- Stanley's best days are behind him, and the interior is not very good at this point. The excessive penalties continue.
  6. Don Vs. Upton - should be interesting - Upton has partly sunny low 70's on Monday ZFP from KOKX
  7. Yup like 5 sprinkles here. Let’s see how we get screwed the rest the week.
  8. Periods of rain and drizzle are likely tomorrow and Tuesday. Highs tomorrow should be in the middle and upper 60s. Tuesday will be cooler with the temperature struggling to reach the lower 60s. Wednesday could temporarily dry out. Additional rain and showers are possible Thursday and Friday. Temperatures will remain unseasonably cool throughout the week with highs mainly in the lower 60s. The ENSO Region 1+2 anomaly was +4.5°C and the Region 3.4 anomaly was +2.9°C for the week centered around September 9. For the past six weeks, the ENSO Region 1+2 anomaly has averaged +4.23°C and the ENSO Region 3.4 anomaly has averaged +2.65°C. The ongoing strong El Niño, will continue to strengthen through the mid-fall. The SOI was -35.18 today. The preliminary Arctic Oscillation (AO) was +1.619 today. Based on sensitivity analysis applied to the latest guidance, there is an implied near 69% probability that New York City will have a cooler than normal September (1991-2020 normal). September will likely finish with a mean temperature near 68.3° (0.9° below normal). Supplemental Information: The projected mean would be 0.3° above the 1981-2010 normal monthly value.
  9. They're all gone so what's the cause? Marlon Humphrey? And yet he still makes plays (I actually can't remember but one play where he had bad coverage but maybe there was another). Hamilton is a stud. Wiggins as well. Hawkins solid. Now perhaps Starks is an issue? Front 7 should be getting more pressure than that given who we have. Personnel-wise...with tje coaching change it should be better...which is why I mentioned maybe it's some leftover that the new regime can change--but just takes time. I will say that today isn't exactly a big blown lead either (up by no more than a TD), and more about all 3-phases being dominated as you said. So maybe there's chance this isn't an indicator of same ol' same ol' and we just plain lost...but we'll find out soon enough.
  10. These young OC "gurus" come down to earth. We know how bad Doyle was today, but the Bears scored 3 today after 59 last week lol.
  11. Tell me if this sounds familiar: Ravens led 14-3 at halftime. Henry had 5 carries in the second half. Monken? Too many penalties-both games. Harbaugh? Defense looks soft. Zack Orr?
  12. Yeah, tides getting a little higher by Saturday and especially Sunday and Monday.
  13. I don't think anyone will accuse the commanders of being a good Football team. Wtf. When Does DQ get fired?
  14. To note, there were 2 very notable severe instances during the past couple of weeks that both occurred right around SAT metro on the evening of August 28th (75 mph damaging wind gusts). And, on evening of September 11th, being 2.50 in. diameter hail in Converse (suburb literally just east of SAT metro). The coastal region again, experienced another round of > 80 F nights these past few weeks since September began, with additional record warm, overnight lows up and down the coastline.
  15. Hope everyone is good. I have not been too active on the forums.. We are finally getting some beneficial rain up here. 3.25" so far this month. About .30"ish today. This makes me a happy camper for sure! Also of note I was just looking at the astronomical tides for the 25-27th. They are quite high. With the warm gulf stream I wonder if any nor'easter getting captured could become hybrid or tropical? It will be interesting to see what unfolds.

  18. A gradual transition to Fall, looks to be underway now in the state with upstream troughing invading the state this ongoing weekend that set off a few strong MCCs over the western half last night. And a new, but more linear compact MCS currently developing in the northern Hill Country (closer to DFW). Severe looks to be rather minute for this event with lack of shear aloft. But, that does not look to be case in the final week of September with increasing shear trends in the state on latest model runs ahead of the next upstream trough. Both Euro and GFS ensembles are in agreement now on the first cooldown of the season to start October. The AO and AAO are both projected to head back into a new, significant Negative phase which should definitely aid this. Along with the MJO remaining in the very latter/early phases the next few weeks to also give more precip insurance heading into October. Although, would expect this October and November to remain at least generally active given recent trends with the MJO. And EN continuing to strengthen.
