  1. Past hour
  2. that's funny were musing over that.. I was just texting with some Met buddies a while ago that this year really seemed to us to be a "snowy year" Granted, we're not dyed in the cloth snow zealots, but we just see this year as having had snow on the ground almost always. Two huge storms..and a lot of constant reminders in between. I like the numbers method frankly. If it is 100% of the seasonal norm, that is an A+ tough shit otherwise.
  3. "The law of averages". You can't argue with advanced mathematics like that!
  4. Below normal to date should be C or lower?
  5. I measured 1.8 right after it ended. It was pretty amazing watching it snow like that but in many areas it was melting almost as fast as it fell. Anything in an area that would be sunny saw a slushy accumulation up to an inch, while "dark" areas are 1 to almost 2". Early and late season snow patterns are always interesting.
  6. Coming down nicely in Westfield right now. Roads are pretty much a sloppy gelatinous mess thanks to the ridiculous type of ice melter they use these days
  7. Damn straight. CON 49.2”/52.8”/93%
  8. Still a pretty interesting look near and just after mid-month....this is a 5-day mean H5 pattern
  9. I totally get what you're saying, but the roads are super slick here right now. I Blame A lot of it on them insisting on using this damn Clear Lane ice melter on the highways! All it does is make things extra slick during light to moderate snowfalls. The nice thing in my area is a few towns have started using sand again During certain storms after many years of never seeing it laid out on the roads
  10. You must be at home... very meh here in Leominster
  11. Right, and people are giving this year B-'s and shit for grades.
  12. Snowed heavily for a few minutes just enough to lightly cover the road. Now just very light snow.
