2026-2027 Record-breaking El Nino
mitchnick replied to Stormchaserchuck1's topic in Weather Forecasting and Discussion
Actually, this statement isn't so outrageous as that map may suggest: "The Northeast may face one of the season’s most complicated winter patterns. Coastal communities could receive more rain or mixed precipitation, while inland areas may be hit by several rounds of heavy, wet snow—particularly during January and February. Small shifts in storm tracks and temperatures could make the difference between rain, sleet, freezing rain, and accumulating snow." -
So close. I can smell it.

2500J MLCAPE right now lol. Nothing to show. Don’t know how anyone could care about convection in SNE. -
It wasn't supposed to rain today, so I left my umbrella at home. Of course it started raining the minute the bus reached the Vienna station. Nice work, NWS. Bravo.

This summer is like when we get a few good snowstorms in the winter. You feel like you got your money’s worth and are ok with the next season to start. I can’t emphasize enough how proud I am of the humidity levels and storm coverage around Frederick this summer (and that includes visiting my mom in Vegas for 2.5 weeks). On a Vegas note, there’s a legit amount of bats that fly around lights at dusk. It’s a thing, but apparently they care more about bugs than people.

Weird day. Kinda wedged in from ME into C/N NH with lower dews and clear skies. Still a warm one though. -

You absolutely can not beleive anything Elias says- "Lift off" "Bringing in an ace" "Buying and selling" " still going for the playoffs this year" After moving 2 starters and your closer lol. Talk about blowing smoke up the ass lol. I understand why they traded Adley and it was probably the right move if your not going to sign him to a longer term deal but, man Elias really thinks the fans are stupid with the BS he puts out there during his press conferences. He's just so damn arrogant.
