Here I got rain since 12:45PM-1:30 moving NE with some of it very heavy. This is in addition to a quick shower this morning and moderate rain (few tenths) late yest. afternoon from popups. It appears I’dreceived 1.5”+ from all of this with most of it just since 12:45PM. This compares to ~2.55” for all of Sep!

Update at 5: been getting additional mod to heavy rain since 4:45. I’m now likely at 2”+ since yest.

Edit: Final total for Fri-Sat 10/2-3 was ~2.1”.

I knew the worst drought areas around the triad were trending down in precipitation but literally to get 0.00” over a large area after a forecast of a widespread 1”+ totals just a couple days out stinks. We have had some rain here but likely ending up <0.40” for the weekend

EDIT: heavier shower this morning brought us to 0.41” for the weekend and that looks to be the total

Sunday had a rainy late afternoon and evening, but it was very light. It’s still raining. Total measured only ~0.1”, which gets me to a MTD of ~2.2”.

Edit: 8:38AM Mon 10/5: I’ve been getting good rains the last 45 minutes.

Edit 7:30PM: Today (10/5) I received ~0.5”, including those good rains between 7:45 and 8:45AM. That puts me at an impressive ~2.7” MTD and matches the model consensus based expectation.

In my area overnight, we got some beneficial rainfall from rapidly N moving scattered convection. Per Cocorahs, there was ~0.75” in the area. I’ll check my gauge later. Winds were brisk but no big deal as expected (highest gusts low 20s).

Sun is peaking through. The sun will eventually lead to sig. instability, which will fuel scattered or bands of tstorms this afternoon, some of which could be severe with a couple of tornadoes possible.

Due to the pressure gradient between Isaias’ remnants and the wedge, along with sig. ongoing rain, together with a secondary astronomical tidal max due to the new moon, the NE winds were long and strong enough to produce moderate coastal flooding in CHS and minor S of there to Ft. Pulaski.

0.07” this morning. Not expecting much from the system, will be very happy if we get 1”

0.06" here.  The guidance has varied so widely for my location I have no idea how much more I'm going to get.  Could be nada or could be a couple of inches.  RAH has me in the 1 - 1.5" zone which would be much appreciated.  Based on persistence the lower end is definitely in play.
