Can’t wait to watch Newark get their 8th hurricane force wind gust, the NYC subway flooded for the 5th time , DXR have 2000 lightning strikes in 7 minutes and Seymour over 30” of rain from this next round of storms .

DXR 2000 lightning strikes . Check

Last  box to check is Seymour . Radar looks promising

Dews aren’t the problem .. never below 74 here. We’re losing  forcing and instability.

Instability is still very high and we’ll maintain the MUCAPE. Forcing is actually increasing a bit with a weak shortwave. I would have to think too this has developed a solid cold pool which should help maintenance of it. We going to get a good light show

There was one storm back in the 90s or early 2000s, forget which that went through Middlesex County Mass, I lost count of how many houses I went to that had new roofs because of the hail in the storm.

Certainly not common for hail damage to roofs in New England storms... The number of out of state roofing companies driving around here is crazy... Lots of Texas trucks with guys trying to get folks to file a claim???
