Was the warmest Winter on record for US Actually since 22-23 every Winter Dec-Mar in the mean has been -ao, albeit slightly. Look at how bad it did south of the Aleutian islands That's why seasonal models showing a -200dm +PNA this Feb I don't think will be right. The pattern hasn't been happening recently. Like I told you before, it's not going to be too warm under the ridge, which will be over se Canada this year...it was over the SW US the past two seasons. Apples and oranges to compare it this year.
